Day dresses are my favourite piece of clothing to wear all year around but especially in the summer, I also love styling them as they’re the centre piece of the outfit. I have been looking for a denim dress for quite a while however most of them have been quite thick denim which is too warm for the summer. This denim dress is from Miss Selfridge and is exactly what I’ve been looking for, it’s lovely and light for this beautiful weather we have been having lately. I love the way that the belt wraps round as well as the fit, I find it to be quite flattering. I accessorised with this mini cross body bag which is perfect for those days when I don’t want to carry a big heavy bag around with me, also even though it’s very small I can fit inside my main essentials which are my phone, purse, makeup and a small camera. I completed the look with this fedora hat which I feel pulls the outfit together.
