I’m always on the hunt for the next best mascara and the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara used to be a firm favourite of mine when I was younger. I wanted to give you a review of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara as I’ve recently started using it again and thought it would be interesting to see if my opinions have changed many years later.
The formula is designed to lengthen, thicken, and curl after just one coat to give voluminous and dramatic lashes. Now while I do agree that you could easily just do one coat, I personally love applying two coats as love the extra length it gives. The brush glides smoothly onto my lashes and I’ve never experienced any clumping whilst using this mascara, so you can easily apply further coats if you want a more dramatic look.
The brush is hourglass-shaped which helps to lift and coat all of the lashes on both the top and bottom of your eyes. I personally like to wiggle my mascara brush side to side as it helps coat the lashes further and also separates them. This is definitely still a favourite mascara of mine however if you’ve already tried this and you’re looking for another mascara to try I’d also recommend the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, I’ve done a full review on my blog if you’re interested in having a read about it.
The reason I stopped using this mascara was just to try out new ones, however now going back I can firmly say that this is still the best mascara that I’ve ever used. I haven’t tried the Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara so I would be interested to try that in the future to compare, however if you have tried it out yourself please let me know your thoughts.
