Top Spring Makeup: High End Favourites

As you may have noticed I have been feeling inspired lately with lots of Spring themed posts, so I wanted to tell you about my favourite high end makeup picks for Spring! I will be doing a drugstore version of this post too as I have many more beautiful makeup products to share with you so keep an eye out for that!
The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is my favourite at the moment as there are lots of rosy toned shades which are lovely if you want to brighten up your makeup. This palette is very versatile and there any many different day and evening looks that can be created using these shades. They are all highly pigmented, blend well and look gorgeous! I’m looking forward to using this a lot more over the next few months and will probably be using this all the way into summer.

I picked Clinique’s Even Better Foundation in Alabaster the other month and even though I loved it then, I love it even more now as it’s much better suited for when the weather is slightly warmer. It’s a medium coverage foundation and makes my skin look a lot healthier and has quite a natural finish. I think it’s perfect for Spring because it’s lightweight and comfortable to wear, when I have this on it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing any foundation on my skin! You can check out my full review on this here if you want to know more about it!

I don’t ever mention any other powder apart from Laura Gellers Balance N’ Brighten, however there is another powder that I use when the weather starts to warm up and that’s the Origins Brighter by Nature Powder. This is amazing for touching up your makeup throughout the day and keeps oil at bay! My biggest problem is that as soon as the sun is out my face gets even oiler which is not a good look, however this gets rid of shine without making your skin look too matte.

I find myself having to touch up my makeup more often lately and the Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Concealer is great to use out and about. It’s creamy and blends easily, the twist up crayon style packing makes using this throughout the day ideal. The coverage is high and it’s almost like a foundation in a little stick!
How beautiful is this blush and highlighter duo?! I am such a huge fan of Laura Gellers baked products and this Blush-n-Highlighter in Como & Portofino is amazing. The blush has pink and peach shades which give a warm, natural glow and the highlight is slightly luminescent and looks beautiful on the cheekbones. Anything that gives me a natural flush of colour around this time of year is perfect.
I am in love with Smashbox’s Limitless 15 Hour Wear Cream Shadow in Quartz, it is the most perfect  shimmery soft rose gold shade and looks great on it’s own or used with other shades. It blends like a dream, brightens up my eye and is beautiful. You can read more about this beautiful eyeshadow here if you’re interested.
Moving onto lips, obviously my favourites have to be from MAC! The first one is Chatterbox and this is an opaque neutral pink. This is the most easily wearable out of the three as it goes well with so many makeup looks. Next is Girl About Town which is a favourite of mine, it has an amplified finish and is medium fuchsia pink with blue undertones (it will make your teeth look whiter). The creaminess of this is insane and it’s the one I have been reaching for the most. Lastly is Candy Yum Yum and it’s only recently been allowed out of my makeup drawer as I only like to wear it when the weather is nice. I actually purchased this the other year and it took me weeks to get hold of it as it was always sold out everywhere! It’s a bright pink with a matte finish, it’s quite out there but if you feel brave enough to give this go it’s beautiful!
So there are my favourite Spring high end makeup picks! Don’t forget I will be doing a drugstore version soon as there are many more amazing products that I’m excited to share with you. Let me know what your top makeup picks for Spring are as I’d love to know.

I want that naked palette in my hands stat – why does it have to be so exy! Haha. I adore those mac shades, so bright and perfect for spring. Is it bad I have like zero brighter shades of mac lipsticks? Ahh I feel like it's something I should invest in x
