You have probably already heard of Vichy Dermablend, they specialise in high-coverage cosmetic products which cover acne, redness and dark circles as well as other skin problems. I’m always on the look out to find the ‘next best’ face product which makes my skin look flawless so was excited to try out one of their powders and foundations. The Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation is definitely high coverage and has a thick consistency. I like to use a beauty blender to apply this as I find it blends easier and creates a more natural and flawless finish in comparison to a brush, some people might prefer a brush but the sponge works better for me. My skin overall is quite oily although my forehead can get a little dry in the winter, however this doesn’t stick to dry patches which is great! As my skin is oily I sometimes find it hard to find foundations which last for a long time, however I’m pleased to say that this lasts me the whole day with only needing to touch up with little powder to reduce shine thoughout the day. I have the shade Porcelain which is a great match for my skin tone and is amazing at covering any blemishes and redness. The finish is matte which is my favourite finish and still gives your skin a slight glow like you get from dewy foundations.I’ve tried the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder previously and still love it now, I did a review over a year ago however wanted to mention it again as it works perfectly with the foundation. It’s a translucent, hypoallergenic powder which helps to reinforce the longevity of the foundation. It’s suitable for all skintones since it’s translucent and it gives a beautiful matte finish. My main skin concern are my pores, and even though you can’t reduce the size of your pores you can minimise the appearance of them, this powder does this which I love as not many other products do effectively.
If you’re looking for high coverage products which give a natural finish then I’d definitely recommend having a look at Vichy Dermablend. Even though I don’t neccesarily need to use a high coverage foundation, on special occasions and when I’m meeting up with others I like my skin to look as flawless as possible. I’d love to know if you’ve tried out anything from Vichy Dermablend before!
