Whittard of Chelsea invited me to take part in a fun blogger challenge to celebrate the launch of their brand new gift packaging. I was paired up with another blogger and we had to match each other to the best gift, based on their blog and social media channels.
As you might know I love everything about afternoon tea, from the delicious scones and cakes, to the loose teas. I have a list of places which I would love to go for afternoon tea and can’t wait for the upcoming year as have some exciting places planned! My favourite so far was the Pret-a-Portea Dior afternoon tea at The Berkeley in London. Everything from the atmosphere to the food and selection of teas was perfect, I wonder if any that I have planned this year will be as amazing!
The Whittard Afternoon Tea Collection was the perfect gift for me as I can enjoy a little taste of afternoon tea at home. I’ve previously created afternoon tea at home including scones, sandwiches and cakes, however I can now include lovely loose teas.
This set includes a silver-plated infuser and four mini caddies of loose tea; English Rose flavoured Black Tea, Mango & Bergamot Green Tea, English Breakfast Black Tea and Earl Grey Black Tea. Just scoop up the loose tea with the infuser then pop into a cup of hot water, in my case this Early Grey Fluted Mug. I’ve been using this specifically for my loose teas, it’s made from fine bone china and is in a beautiful vintage pattern.
These are wonderful blends and I’ve tried them all already, with the Mango & Bergamot Green Tea quickly becoming a favourite of mine. The caddies themselves are beautiful, each with its own vintage-style pattern which look lovely on the kitchen side. Overall I’m in love with the Whittard Afternoon Tea selection and thought it was a great choice from the blogger who had me for the campaign.
