Incase you didn’t read my last Wild About Beauty post or haven’t heard of the brand, I’ll do a quick introduction to familiarise yourself. Wild About Beauty is a beauty line collaboration between makeup artists Louise Redknapp and Kim Jacob. They believe that makeup should be skin loving as well as perform well and I love that all their products are paraben free. Their packaging is purple with handwriting and insects on, I think it’s lovely as it’s quite different to any other packing for makeup products I have seen before.

I had previously tried out one of their eyeshadows and loved it so was excited to try these shades. These Powder Eyeshadows (£13*) in Jody, Fern and Heather all have a cute little bee embossed into the power which is a lovely little touch. The first shade (left) called Jody is a beautiful forest green, the next one (middle) called Fern is a beautiful gold and the last one (right) called Heather is a deep purple. All of these are slightly shimmery but the shimmer particles are extremely fine so are easily wearable both in the morning and evening. As you can see by the swatches they are all highly pigmented and very long lasting with no fallout. They have a little mirror on them which makes them perfect for travelling and securely close.

I’m excited to tell you about this Kajal Pencil Duo in Maeve (£14.50*) as I have been using it every single day lately. It’s double ended and both ends are easy to apply, blend and are long lasting. The thinner side is a carbon black shade whereas the thicker side is a jet black and creamy, the combination is perfect to use especially when trying to achieve a smokey eye. The next product is this Eyeshadow Pencil Duo in Penny (£14.50*) which has two plum shades. I haven’t used the eyeliner end as much because I tend to stick with black eyeliner, however the eyeshadow end I have been using those. I’ve found that this shade really compliments my green eyes and makes them stand out more, it’s slightly creamy and is easy to blend, you do not need much pressure to apply.
I don’t wear nude lipsticks often as it’s hard to find shades that suit me, however this Nutrilips Colour in Bobbie (£15*) actually compliments my skin tone very well. It contains Wild Mango Butter and Argan oil which would explain why it feels very nourishing on my lips. It’s a sheer finish with a slight shine and even though I love bright lip colours I have been using this a lot, especially on busy days when I don’t have time to check or reapply my lipstick.
I love wearing darker shades on my nails for autumn and winter, and these Nail Polishes (£9*) in Jake (left) and Michael (right) are perfect for this time of year. Jake is a burgundy shade with a slight shimmer, in the light these particles reflect beautifully. Michael is a glossy black and perfect for the party season, I’ll probably add a glitter topcoat or something similar with this for the evening. They texture is quite thick and I tend to prefer thinner nail polishes however this does have a bonus to it as I only needed to apply one coat to achieve an opaque finish.
Overall I am a huge fan of Wild About Beauty products as they are amazing quality. They are more of a high end brand however I think their products are reasonably price and great value as I love to pay a little bit more for something that is amazing quality.
