This month for March Birchbox have released a beauty-related word search box filled with lots of exciting beauty products. It’s always a little hit and miss with beauty boxes as some months are amazing whereas others can be a little disappointing, so lets see what I thought of this months box!First up is the Amika Nourishing Mask designed to seal split ends and fight dryness. I have very long hair so love to use hair masks and use them once a week to keep my hair in good condition, I’ve never tried anything from Amika before so I’m excited to see how well this deep conditioning treatment works.
The Polaar IceSource Moisturising Gel is a water-based moisturiser designed for those with oily skin which is my skin type. I love using gel moisturisers over the warmer months when I don’t need as much hydration so I will probably put this away and save it for when the weather warms up. Next is the Philip B Drop Dead Straightening Baume which is a silicone-free treatment to help relax hair and straighten it, now I probably won’t be using this as my hair is naturally very straight however this would be good if your hair is more on the curly side. Moving onto my favourite product in this months box; This Works Pillow Spray in Deep Sleep. I already own this and it’s amazing, it contains essential oils including lavender to help relax and calm the mind. I have a lot of trouble sleeping however when I spritz this over my pillow before bedtime I manage to relax and drift off to sleep quicker, I also find that my quality of sleep is much better and don’t wake up as many times during the night.
I was interested when I read about the Arrow Boost Colour Enhancing Lip Balm as it adjusts to your pH to create a beautiful lip tint which is unique to you! Also Arrow is the new cruelty-free vegan brand from Birchbox so I’m excited to see what else they release in the future. The last product is the ModelCo More Brows, this is a quick-dry gel which contains hair-like particles to create the illusion of fuller brows. My eyebrows are naturally quite thin and even though I’ve tried growing them I need a little help to make them fuller so this will help me achieve the look that I want.
I was quite happy with this months Birchbox and I’m excited to try out some new brands. Let me know if you also receive Birchbox and what your favourites were this month!
