You Beauty Discovery Box June 2015

It’s been a while since the last You Beauty Discovery Box that I featured as I had unsubscribed, however when I noticed that June’s box included a Crown brush I knew I had to order it! If you didn’t know this is a monthly subscription box however it’s slightly different to others, there are a selection of products to choose from in which you pick two and then some random little bits are included too. Also you can just order the one month like I did if you didn’t want to receive it on a monthly basis.

There were a few little random bits included in this months You Beauty Discovery Box (£6.95), my favourite being the Urban Fruit as this is something I already love (the mango one is delicious too). There were also two Clippers tea bags, I’ve never tried the red fruits flavour before but I’ve had their green tea which is quite nice. Then there were some wet wipes and tissue which are handy to keep in your bag as you never know when you might need them.

Moving onto the reason why I ordered this box, the Crown Duo Fiber Blender brush. This is the newest addition to Crown’s Duo Fibre Range and is made from a mix of goat and synthetic hairs. The brush can be used with cream, liquid and powder due to the blend of the bristles which are extremely soft. I haven’t tried this out yet but I’m going to use it for foundation and concealer, I might also see what it’s like blending out highlight areas and contour.

The last item is the Inika Certified Organic Pure Primer, I always like to try out new primers as I’m yet to find one which I absolutely love. It’s designed to protect and hydrate the skin, preparing it for makeup application. I’m not sure how well it will boost the staying power of my makeup since my skin is very oily, however I’m excited to see what it’s like.

Are any of you subscribed to any beauty boxes? What I love about You Beauty is that you know what you will receive in the box before you order, so I just order the boxes that appeal most to me as it avoids disappointment.
