As you may know I love beauty boxes, the main reason being that you can try out a range of different products at a fraction of the price (they always work out good value). A few weeks ago I purchased the You Beauty Discovery CEW Limited Edition Box (£19.95) which included CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) beauty awards finalist brands. As there was a mix of skincare, makeup and haircare as well as a few of my favourite products I couldn’t not order it.
The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is my all time favourite mascara, I absolutely love it! It lengthens and adds extra volume to my lashes, there literally isn’t anything I could fault about this product. Next there was a small sample of Benefits They’re Real Push-Up Linter, I actually have a full-sized version of this which will be up on my blog later this week so keep an eye out if you’re interested in what I thought of this.
I have tried out the Organic Snail Gel before in the past and loved it, my favourite time to use this product is actually in the Autumn/Winter when it’s colder as it provides my skin with extra hydration. However it is lovely to use in the summer, but as I have oily skin I tend to use it on its own. I’m excited to try the Bee Good 2-in-1 cream cleanser as I am a big fan of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and have been told that this is very familiar. The last skincare item was a small sachet of the Aurelia Miracle Cleanser, I haven’t used this product before however it claims to support the skin’s defence system using probiotics and peptides which are essential for radiant and youthful skin.
Fake tanning isn’t something I do often at all, but now that is the summer I like to add a little bit of colour to my legs for events and special occasions. I’ve heard a lot of positive things about the Vita Liberata Luxury Tan, my biggest peeve with fake tans is that the smell is normally horrible however this is meant to be odourless. It claims to last up to 4 times longer than regular fake tans (3-4 weeks) and is ultra hydrating, I’m actually really looking forward to trying this out! Now onto hair care, the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is a multi-award winning pre-shampoo treatment. For best results this should be used once a week and adds extra moisture to the hair’s cuticle, elasticity and bounce. I’m always trying to add more bounce to my hair without it being weighed down as my hair is very fine, so I’m also excited about trying this too.
Overall this is amazing value as the snail gel alone is the same price as the whole box! Let me know if you’ve also purchased this box or tried any of the products that are included.
